Artist's Depiction & Meaning;
Devi is Sanskrit for "GODDESS", one who has many forms/incarnations. Her most familiar forms can be ferocious, such as Durga and Kali, or even as benevolent, such as Parvati. Lakshmi, wife of Vishnu is another incarnation of Devi.
When in the form of Parvati, Devī is the wife of Shiva whom is the "God of Destruction and Regeneration."
Devī is the mother of all life, she is gentle the god of nature as well as life. She brings rain and protects against disease. As she is also the mother of death, she equally terrible.

Devī is divine. The goddess of creative power and represents all women in the universe.
